Past Performance

Ascolta has supported integration of i2 Analyst’s Notebook into the Air Force’s Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) for the past six years. Ascolta integrated i2 Analyze version 4.3.4, IBM DB2, IBM HTTP Server and  Geospatial Data Server into the DCGS systems.  Ascolta provides a service for clients to retrieve geospatial entities from i2 Analyze.  We utilize  i2 TextChart to provide services to natural language processing (NLP) data for i2 Analyze and connectors via an MS SQL Database.  We are familiar with the Enterprise Insight Analysis (EIA) product having integrated it with i2 Analyze. We can provide custom plugins. We harden security beyond simple usernames and passwords, providing Active Directory, SSL/HTTPS communications between servers, and allowing multiple security dimensions to be assigned to data to provide various levels of data protection and authorization.

Ascolta has been the lead developer on the Content Driven Analytics (CDA) application, enhancing fusion analysts' situational awareness by identifying and fusing information related to entities and events using tools for crawling and natural language processing of the structured/unstructured data from Intelligence Community data repositories. Coupled with machine learning algorithms, CDA provides anomaly detection with alerting and tipping on entity event trends, patterns of life and potential threat indicators. CDA interfaces with DCGS Servers to ingest data from approved sources and to share Entities, Links and Properties (ELP) charts.
