In a unique program, Ascolta has partnered with Irvine Valley College to offer fully accredited Cisco classes. These classes are regularly scheduled Ascolta classes that are academic unit-bearing worth up to 5 units. These credits are good towards a continuing education.
Now, its possible to get the required training and earn college credits at the same time.
Once a student registers for an Ascolta class, they also fill out an enrollment form for Irvine Valley College (IVC). This must be done prior to the start of the class. The student is then registered simultaneously at IVC and will receive credits at the completion of the semester the course falls in. It's that simple.
Each course offered at Ascolta has been reviewed, approved and accredited to receive college units. All of the instructors at Ascolta have been reviewed and authorized to teach courses through this program. Ascolta worked together with Irvine Valley College to develop this unique program as an added benefit to our students.
Earning college credits for training is important for different reasons, depending on the circumstances of the individual and of the company. Some companies will only pay for training where college credits are granted. Some companies may have specific requirements that they need to meet. And, some individuals may need the units to apply to a degree they are working on.
Whatever the circumstances, if you need to earn college credits for training, Ascolta comes through for you.
