This course will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ Essentials certification exam (2009 objectives) and the CompTIA A+ Practical Application certification exam (2009 objectives). It is designed for students seeking to become entry-level IT professionals.

    This is a fast-paced, comprehensive course designed to present the knowledge and skills needed for both CompTIA A+ (2009 Edition) certification exams. Students taking this course should be highly proficient with personal computers. Furthermore, this course assumes that students have advanced user-level skills in Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Windows 2000 Professional. These skills and knowledge can be obtained by completing the following courses:

    • Windows Vista: Basic and Windows Vista: Advanced
    • Windows XP SP2: Basic and Windows XP SP2: Advanced
