Irvine, CA - October 8, 2000. -- Ascolta has appointed Randi Rubenstein to the position of Vice President of Operations. Ms. Rubenstein will oversee Ascolta’s curriculum, scheduling, and facility and management information systems operations. Other responsibilities will include setting strategy for quality delivery of Ascolta’s classroom and web-based instruction (both instructor-led) to Internet professionals. As Vice President of Operations, she will be a member of the Executive Committee, reporting to Ted Wagner, Ascolta’s Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to her appointment as Vice President of Operations, Ms. Rubenstein held the position of Manager of Learning Resources at Ascolta. In that role she was responsible for the management and development of Ascolta’s curriculum and team of technical instructors. She was instrumental in creating complex management planning and reporting tools, resulting in optimization of Ascolta’s instructional capabilities. Previous experience includes eleven years with Dorland Center for Healthcare Information, where she served as VP Operations. In this capacity she orchestrated administrative and information activities resulting in annual profit margins of 20%.
