Technical Support Associate

Scope and Responsibilities

The Technical Support Associate is a challenging but rewarding position that includes a variety of responsibilities. This position offers the candidate a wide range of opportunities to learn and enhance their technical knowledge by tapping into a knowledge base consisting of CCIE, CCNP, and MCSE professionals. Ascolta is interested in hiring individuals with intentions of vesting them with the training and skills to allow an employee to grow within the company; therefore, candidate will have the chance to attend our classes to obtain valuable Cisco certifications. 

Principal Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of the Technical Support Associate will be to assist the Network Manager in both technical and logistic aspects of the MIS department. The responsibilities include preparing, configuring, testing, and verifying Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances in Ascolta’s state of the art Remote Labs.  Our Remote Labs contains very high-end Cisco equipments used only in Enterprise/Service Provider data center. On the logistical aspect of the position, you will assist in the process of planning and coordinating deliveries of equipments, classroom setup, and asset management. In addition, you will be assign special projects from time to time to research and implement new technologies that will improve MIS operations.

Skills Required

·         Install and configure client hardware and software.

·         Installation and support of Microsoft Windows products.

·         Proficient with use and configuration of Microsoft Office suite.

·         Knowledge of networking concepts.

VOIP and IP Telephony Instructor

 

Position Location: Minneapolis, Denver, San Jose, Irvine, Seattle, San Diego
Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel 25-75% of the time

Scope and Responsibilities

Conduct Cisco authorized Voice courses for public and private customers. Instructor must have significant expertise with one or more of Cisco Voice products such as IP Telephony, CallManager, and Unity.

  • Ability to maintain customer satisfaction ratings of 4.5 on a 5.0 scale
  • Ability to work with other instructors and operations to quickly remedy any equipment issues
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and related course materials

Inside Sales Associate

Position Location:         Irvine, CA

Status:                          Full-time Permanent

 

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inside Sales Associate reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager and is responsible for all inside sales activities associated with selected targets customers markets within a geographic region. Key result areas include increasing Ascolta penetration within our existing client base, their affiliates, partners as well as targeting non-existing clients. Maintain ongoing relationships with local Cisco offices.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for developing and expanding marketplace through in-depth research of both existing customer base and new prospective leads with an emphasis new business prospects.
  • Daily outbound call campaign for assigned territory.
  • Weekly call reports, monthly status reports and other periodic updates and analyses.
  • Attendance and participation in specified user group meetings, weekly introductions and events.
  • Ensure prospective customer calls are handled with competence and responsiveness.
  • Field inbound sales calls

 

SKILLS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

·         Inside Sales Associate will develop new opportunities to increase company visibility in the industry.

·         Will periodically attend and or assist in presentations.

·         In-Depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Training Server, and the Internet

·         Inside Sales Manager will conduct periodic discussions with inside sales associate to ensure customer relationships are on track.

COMPENSATION:

·         The compensation plan for Inside Sales Associate is created to reward those who meet and exceed revenue targets and other agreed-upon objectives.

  • Top performers will be rewarded with un-capped commissions in addition to a base salary. ($32,000 base salary with 1st year realistic earnings of $46,000+ with no cap on commissions)
